Welcome to Meexz ("we," "our," or "us"). Meexz is a logistics-enabled wholesale platform operated by MEEXZ LLC that enables resellers to pool their buying power. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your business data. This Privacy Policy governs your access to and use of www.meexz.com and our related services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information necessary to facilitate wholesale transactions, verify reseller status, and comply with legal obligations:

  • Business Verification Data: Reseller permits, tax identification numbers (EIN/SSN), business licenses, government-issued IDs for KYC (Know Your Customer) compliance, and other documentation required to vet your status as a qualified commercial entity.
  • Account & Profile Information: Name, professional email address, phone number, Store/Shopify URL, business address, and profiles on selling platforms (e.g., Whatnot, Poshmark, eBay handles).
  • Financial & Transaction Data: Order history, billing addresses, and payment instrument details. Note: We do not store your full credit card numbers directly.Transactions are processed by our PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe).
  • Pool Participation Data: Specific inventory interests, order quantities, waitlist positions, and interactions with other pool participants in anonymized formats.
  • Usage & Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, and data regarding your interaction with our dashboard (clicks, heatmaps, session duration).

3. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data under the following legal bases:

  • Contractual Necessity: To fulfill our obligations to you effectively (e.g., processing orders, managing pools, shipping goods).
  • Legitimate Interests: To operationalize our business, prevent fraud, verify reseller identities, and improve our platform security.
  • Legal Obligation: To comply with tax laws, anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, and other statutory requirements.
  • Consent: Where explicitly required, such as for marketing communications, which you may withdraw at any time.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • Facilitate Order Pools: Aggregating demand to meet supplier Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs) and splitting logistics.
  • Risk Management: Assessing the legitimacy of business entities to maintain the integrity of our wholesale network.
  • Communications: Sending transactional emails (order confirmations, pool status updates) and support responses.
  • Product Authentication: Creating and maintaining records of product verification to protect the supply chain.
  • Platform Optimization: Analyzing aggregate user behavior to improve UI/UX and source in-demand inventory.

5. Disclosure of Data

We generally do not sell your personal data. We disclose information only as follows:

  • Suppliers & Distributors: We share aggregated order data to execute purchases. Individual reseller identities are usually confidential unless drop-shipping is required.
  • Service Providers: We engage third parties for hosting (e.g., AWS/Vercel), analytics (e.g., Google Analytics), payments (e.g., Stripe), and logistics (e.g., UPS/FedEx). They are authorized to use your data only as necessary to provide these services to us.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or asset sale, your data may be transferred as part of the transaction.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose data if required by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect and defend our rights, or investigate fraud.

We will retain and use your data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, retaining transaction records for tax and accounting purposes for up to 7 years), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

Your information, including personal data, is processed at our operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located. This specifically includes the United States. If you are located outside the United States and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to the United States and process it there. 11. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to this Privacy Policy or the Services shall be resolved by binding arbitration, rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if your claims qualify. The Federal Arbitration Act and federal arbitration law apply to this agreement.

Class Action Waiver: You and Meexz agree that any proceedings to resolve or litigate any dispute will be conducted solely on an individual basis. Neither you nor Meexz will seek to have any dispute heard as a class action, a private attorney general action, or in any other proceeding in which either party acts or proposes to act in a representative capacity.

12. Children's Privacy

Our Services are strictly for businesses and individuals aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you are a parent and aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us.

13. Modifications to This Policy

We reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or Service offerings. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.

14. Severability

If any provision of this Privacy Policy is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
